Deglon Meeting

Have you ever seen a more elegant set of knives? Designed by Mia Schmallenbach who was then studying in the Brussels Visual School of Arts, the underlying concept behind the knives was a famous mathematical formula – the Fibonacci sequence.

The mathematical equation was used to determine how much the sides curved in relation to the constant that she had measured which is the width of an average human hand hence subjecting the handle sizes to be fixed.  The real visual appeal of the knives is apparent when they’re nestled together in one block.

The Deglon Meeting knives set comes with:

  • a paring knife
  • a carving knife
  • a 20cm chef’s knife
  • and a 15cm utility knife

Mind you, the price of good design does not come cheap – the Deglon Meeting knives set will set you back a handsome AUD949.00. Interested? Head on over to Table Direct to shop online.

GOSH~~ This is the most elegant knife set which I’ve never seen before. I can’t really find out it is actually knife if you simply put it on the table. It’s awesome!

They are without a doubt the most awe inspiring knives I ever saw. Had to look a few times before I could figure out what they were.
