Check Out the Interior Design of THIS Sleek Hotel

Feast your eyes on this magnificent structure!

This is not a house, obviously, but it has been called the “World’s Most Exciting Hotel,” and it blends contemporary styles and facilities seamlessly with a time-honored culture and first-rate service. Or, that’s the reputation of the new Yas Hotel, anyway… I’ve never actually spent a night there, but after perusing their website, I really want to!

The hotel itself, situated on Yas island, is constructed so it rests half on land and half over water, overlooking the Yas marina. It is only 15 minutes from the Abu Dhabi city center. It is enveloped by its signature “gridshell,” which illuminates spectacularly at night, and is designed to resemble a thrown fishing net – an homage to the fishing culture of the region.

But let’s talk about interiors here, as this is a home design blog after all: I was utterly blown away by the modern style and beauty of these hotel rooms.

The rooms offer sleek shelving units, glass surfaces, and extremely plush modern platform beds and sofas. The layout of these rooms is superb, but what really impressed me was the style of the bathrooms: the wall-mounted modern vanity countertop is constructed from solid marble, and as you can see in the pictures, the bathroom interior is expansive (to put it lightly). Art-deco walls featuring elegant geometric patterns and intriguing modern lighting systems complete the hotel interior, giving it a substantial character that is unique among hotels.

The hotel features 499 guest rooms and 14 bars and restaurants offering great areas to lounge in, quench your thirst for crisp liquid refreshments, and indulge in gourmet treats and eats.

All of this can be yours for approximately USD 182 per night. Hmmm… maybe I won’t be spending a night there any time soon, after all.

That’s real nice. Some sort of lighting behind it would give an awesome effect in between.
