Modern furniture can be staggeringly expensive, especially if you purchase it from retailers such as Lowes or Home Depot. It’s not their fault: those stores need to charge an arm and a leg just to make a little profit after they’ve incurred their own overhead costs. The problem is, these overhead costs trickle down to us, the consumers. That is why bathroom appliances and features like bathroom vanities are so costly, and that is why I am here to tell you that you don’t need to shop for your bathroom products in stores.

In 1917, Marcel DuChamp sent shockwaves throughout the “fine art” world when he unveiled what is today perhaps his most famous piece: “Fountain.” This piece, the first of DuChamp’s many “Ready-mades,” changed the way that many people viewed art, and allowed for a far more open interpretation of artistry and beauty. No longer would “art” be confined to ornate statues or paintings: “art” could now be found in ideas, philosophies, and the intellectual acrobatics of the beholder. Because, if you were only going to make a surface assessment of “Fountain,” you would really only be able to say one thing about it: it’s a urinal.

I am one of those who are constantly using my laptop be it for work, blog or simply surf. In the comfort of my own home, I have a terrible habit of putting the laptop on my lap whilst on the bed. I’m sure the heat generated from the laptop directly at my nether regions can’t be good for me but some say it might even harm my swimmers. I’ll leave that to be confirmed by science but I suppose it’s high time i shopped around for a laptop desk/tray.

Every once in a while, a little narcissism can be a good thing! For this very reason, no bathroom would be complete without a beautiful bathroom mirror. We all take pride in our appearance, after all – and who doesn’t want to look good when they go out? We spend a significant amount of time in front of the mirror every day, appealing to our vanity in the healthiest fashion (and in some cases, not so healthy – I’m looking at you, girl who takes three hours to do her make-up!).
