RM5.00 Daiso GelSeal – Affordable and Humorous

Remember my article on those brilliant little things called GelGems which I got from Bangkok a while back? No? Take a read at the ‘GelGems’ article here if you haven’t read it or can’t remember it.

Recently, whilst shopping at Daiso, the RM5.00 Japanese outlet at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara, looking for plastic balls for which baby Ryan can play with, YinLeng found GelSeal which are exactly like GelGems but cost so much less! (I think we bought our GelGems at 200Baht or RM20 equivalent). Head on over to Daiso if you’ve been searching for glass stickers for decoration or to amuse your little ones!

The ‘notice’ on the packaging reads as follows:

This commodity is for the decoration. It is not food
It is for seven years old or more. Please do not stick within arm’s reach and do not keep the child’s use
Please peel off politely slowly when the commodity is taken out of the package and when the pasted commodity is peeled off, so as not to cut
Please use it for the glass and the mirror. Please use it by the material that doesn’t absorb oil (frosted glass is improper)
It is not likelye to be able to take it by the colour and oil’s adhering. Please use the material after it confirms and it understands
Please do not use it for the joint, on the human body, the tile of the wood manufacturethe paper product, the plastics product, the fabric product, leather goods, the marble, frosted glass, the modular bath, the wall, and the unglazed pottery
Please do not use in the place that becomes in close contact, in the car, and the fire at which direct sunshine warms oneself 40 or more. It transforms, and it begins to melt
Please do not use it near the thing of the curatain and lrouts to do easily
It doesn’t ahdere when dust and dirt adhere. Please use it after cleaning pasted respect
Please wash in clean water or lukewarm water, and take the water when the commodity is dirty
Please note that the commodity does contact lrouts
The smell of the commodity is the one on the characteristic

I’m assuming this is a direct translation from Japanese which ended up sounding like convoluted english mixed with gibberish. I’m sure it makes perfect sense in Japanese but it sure brithened up my day and gave me a right good laugh when reading it… ‘please peel off politely…’, ‘please use the material after it confirms and it understands…’. Priceless!
