Humor is the Mirror I Cast on the World
Every once in a while, a little narcissism can be a good thing! For this very reason, no bathroom would be complete without a beautiful bathroom mirror. We all take pride in our appearance, after all – and who doesn’t want to look good when they go out? We spend a significant amount of time in front of the mirror every day, appealing to our vanity in the healthiest fashion (and in some cases, not so healthy – I’m looking at you, girl who takes three hours to do her make-up!).
So, if you’re going to stand there cleaning and pampering yourself for ten minutes to an hour every day, you might as well have a bit of fun while you’re at it!
Modern bathroom mirrors, designed by top artists, are beautiful and often surprising ways to decorate your bathroom walls. And these mirrors are often accompanied with a strong sense of humor.

Take the “Self Portrait Mirrors” by Chloe & Tomlinson. These fun modern mirrors make light of our inherent narcissism with clever etchings cut directly into the mirror. These engravings will reveal the inner pirate, moose, or mustachioed man in you. Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but who says beauty can’t be laugh out loud funny?
There are many other fun mirrors out there, cut into a bevy of interesting and witty shapes. Take, for instance, the “Surf Mirror” by M. Perego for Porada. This mirror looks stylish and very modern, but it is cut in a surf board shape. It is sure to get a smile out of any guest, and it’s even framed in wood that somewhat resembles the fiberglass under-body of a real surfboard!
If you are interested in novelty mirrors – modern bathroom mirror designers are heeding your call!
