The SheatSeat
There are chairs and there are brililantly designed chairs. The Sheatseat falls in the latter category. The perennial problem of large footprints of stacked chairs has now been solved by this clever chair, first unveiled during the New York Design Week 2009.

The foldout design of the chair allows it to be completely flat in its pack-away state, allowing for stacking to be akin to that of a pile of cards.

Here are some of my favourite chairs:
- The Panton chair: If you don’t already know the iconic chair, you had better read this article
- The Obelisk: A very cleverly design patio set consisting of 1 table and 4 four chairs which can be stacked up to form an Obelisk
- The Flexible Love chair: An accordian-like cardboard chair which can seat 1-8 people, depending on how it’s stretched and layed out. A marvel of modern product design
- Cube6: A set of 6 chairs that can be put together to form a cube, which makes a clever little side table when not used
- The Pick chair: This is one of my all-time favourites. Wall art that is also a chair
