I agree with you. Platform beds are one of the best bedroom furniture items. I would like to add one more advantage of using a platform bed. A platform bed consumes less volume in a bedroom so a perception of more space getes created. This can make a small bedroom look bigger. Great article. Thanks for sharing.

As usual, howshouse never fails to impress, I was just thinking about updating my bedroom, and going all Zen….lo and behold, I log in to your site (which I must say, is quite often) and you have just put up a post on Zen looking bedrooms. In my mind, I wanted a neutral colour scheme with simple lines, and your second pix with the bare wall behind will be my inspiration platform. Thanks howshouse!
