Chalkboard Paint
Hi, I’m Tonia Arnold from Loco-Notions. As a guest blogger on How’sHouse, I’d like to share with you a rather interesting concept today: Chalkboard Paint.

The possibilities of projects that you can do with chalkboard paint are endless. Did you know you can create your own chalkboard paint? Martha Stewart has a great tutorial on how to create your own chalkboard paint at http://www.marthastewart.com/article/make-custom-color-chalkboard-paint?rsc=related

The recipe is very simple…
All you need to do is add 2 tablespoons of unsanded tile grout to 1 cup of paint. How easy is that? Chalkboard paint can be fun, creative and functional for both children and adults. For kids, paint the top of a child sized table or tv tray, paint a silhouette on the wall or create hopscotch squares on the floor. For adults, spruce up your buffet or refrigerator. You can create your own chalkboard by using your favorite picture frame. The possibilities are endless, have fun and be creative! Do you have any other ideas? Let us know

if you are ever in Avenue K, the food court at the Concourse floor has a whole chalkboard painted wall – pretty interesting
hey man, love this idea. My kids will have a blast! Know where I can get the unsanded tile grout for the recipe?
This place sells chalkboard paint in every color. I used it to paint my kid’s bedroom wall.
