Some of the questions in the article are pretty fundamental so much so that often times we find ourselves trying to overcomplicate the selection criteria, the most rudimentary items are then left out.

Some of the questions include:

Do I like this person? Can I spend a lot of time with him/her?

Inquire about the designer’s education, training, experience, professional affiliations and other credentials

Ask to see a portfolio of past projects and references

And to me, the most important question of all
