Portrait of Nature’s Etsy shop showcases artpieces handpainted/sketched by several family members including mom, dad and their 10 year old princess.

Artworks range from USD10-100 and are grouped into several catetogies – watercolour, sketch, and prints.

This delightful watercolour painting is entitled ‘Flower Series – 2′, painted on 300gm acid free paper, 6.5″ x 5″, and retails for USD20.

This is probably my favourite of the lot – more so because of the cultural impact that it has. I believe many of us have used such patch blankets in our younger days (in fact, it would not be surprising to still see these around). This would be the sort of thing my greatgrandmother would make for us, along with all the goodies she’d cook and bake to spoil us with
