HowTo: Make Your Own Cardboard Ring Frames

Here’s an excellent money-saving home decor tip from Photojojo on how to make cardboard ring frames. It’s a simple concept really, which provides excellent bang-for-the-buck visual effects which will get your guests talking and complimenting you on your creativity

Some other creative ways in which you could display your pictures based on this concept:

  • Use decorative plates instead of cardboard rings – you can always get nice looking plates for cheap at wareshouse sales
  • Group your cardboard ring frames to form an identifiable shape e.g. question mark, exclamation mark, an initial etc
  • Insert lights behind the ring frames to illuminate your photos. Would be a really cool effect in a dimly lit room
  • Spread a panoramic picture into a series of ring frames e.g. 3-in-a-row
