Nested Furniture

Anna Thomas’s Bonnie and Clyde triple piece table is a perfect example of a piece of contemporary furniture that you should have at home. It’s simply delightful and unpretentious. Your guests will love this to bits. I’ve seen something similar in one of our local furniture stores but can’t for the life of me remember which store it is (perhaps it could be Haus?!?). I found this whilst stumbling through Padstyle. Read the article here.

Done with tables, onto chairs now…

Dripta Roy’s Magic Chair will be officially out in spring ‘09. The Magic Chair features a four nested chairs of various sizes which all fit together to take up the footprint of the largest chair. A very practical and space saving piece of furniture. Looks well contoured to provide adequate comfort. If ever a modern Goldlilocks remake were to be in hollywood’s pipelines, I have no doubt that this excellent piece of furniture would be used in that film.

New look .. cool .. but I dont quite like the function where you need to click “more” to read … I tend not to click unless the title is really really interesting.

@StocksHaven:
Thanks for the compliments

@FamilyFirst:
Thank you for the feedback. I was actually advised by several siteowners that having ‘read more’ function is more effective and does not drag the home page too long. Rest assured I’ll be monitoring the effectiveness from my end. I hope you’ll continue to enjoy reading my material!

I personally like clean, functional, simple design in interior decor. Your nesting table bit really caught my fancy. Some folks, however, like to add a touch of traditional or ethnic to set off the modern – or vice versa. My blog is an entry to Web sites that offer tribal art accents. I’ll be back for more insights from HowsHouse.

Thank you, William. Very interesting site you have there as well. A traditional or ethnic touch can really blend well into contemporary homes as well. The effects can actually be pretty astounding. My parents’ living room has modern contemporary seating and coffee table coupled with some classical ornaments as well as ethnic decorative pieces. It all blends extremely well and gives the place a certain charm and character
