Painted Things
Looking for unique, hand-painted decorative items as gifts or decor pieces for your home? You might want to take a look at what Painted Things have to offer. Painted Things was founded by Beck and Bern whilst they were on a journey of self-discovery (where their careers were concerned). Beck felt disconcerted whilst Bern’s career choice was beginning to click and make sense.
Bern was working in a craft shop and had become a certified glass-painting teacher. It was only when Beck picked up crafting as a hobby did the duo realize how well they clicked and they both shared the brainchild of establishing Painted Things. What started from their bedroom floor has now turned into a proper arts and craft studio in an apartment nearby their home
Painted things was featured a little over two years ago in the papers when they held a Christmas Craft Bazaar at their home. The event was an overwhelming success and many of their customers that day have become regulars. Last month, Painted Things was invited to NTV7’s The Breakfast Show to showcase their CNY offerings and do a little glass painting demo.
Right, so now that we’re done with the history lesson, let’s go into the more important bit- the content and their offerings. They currently have an online presence on Facebook (click here to go to Painted Thing’s Facebook Page) where they’ve posted their product offerings in logical albums with detailed description of the product and pricing in the picture’s comments section.
They offer home decor items such as painted lamps, boxes, photo frames, vases and other glassware and more. Here are some examples of their work:
What’s great is that the duo do not attempt to charge you and arm and a leg for their efforts. A lot of their products are really affordable. These girls just love to paint!
Head on over to their site (click here) now to check out their wares.
To order, simply message them on Facebook; email: paintedthings@gmail.com; OR call directly at 012 314 4944.
Keep up the good work, girls!
