Bed Ideas from StyleFiles

The StyleFiles has been one of my favourite home blogs even before I began How’sHouse. The great thing about this blog is that it’s rich with images of beautiful homes, from simple to extravagant settings.

Here are two articles which have caught my eye – articles on how to dress up one’s bed. Most eastern families do not pay as much attention as our western friends in dressing up a bed simply because we do not really see the point in taking the effort to do the bed in the morning and pile up the extra teenie weenie throw pillows and layers of sheets only to take them all off at night before going to bed.

I’m sure you’ve seen movies in which the couple prepares to go to bed and takes about 30 seconds to dump all the little throw pillows on the ground and peel off 2-3 layers of sheets before snuggling up for the night? Well, whilst that isn’t exactly practical here, I think it’s still nice to do a little to decorate the place in which you spend most of your time whilst at home
